HemoSmart GOLD offers a fast and easy way to measure haemoglobin level and is the first biosensor-based palm-sized haemoglobin testing system in the world. The one of its kind strip-based testing method offers ease of use and portability and requires only 1μL of blood. Testing is done away from the instrument so cross-contamination can be minimized. The instrument is made of splashproof material and can withstand rugged cleaning by chlorine-base disinfectants. The large, back-lit LCD provides a big and clear readout even in poor lighting conditions. Results can be easily upload into laptop computers or workstation via a USB connection.
